HEATHER WALCZYK - Hip Hop
Heather began her dance training at the age of 12 in Lancaster, NY where she studied classical ballet, jazz, tap, and lyrical. Heather has performed in many musicals including 'High School Musical' at Proctors Theater and recently was asked to choreograph several pieces for a tribute to Andrew Wyeth at the Hyde Collection. She obtained a Dance Minor from Russell Sage College where she studied modern dance with Jane Roberts and Ellen Sinopoli of the Ellen Sinopoli Dance Company. Heather was the President of the Albany College of Pharmacy Dance Team for several years where she taught, choreographed, and orchestrated all costuming and performances. She will graduate in May 2011 with a Doctorate in Pharmacy. Heather is excited to join the faculty at Glens Falls Ballet and Dance Center and hopes to continue teaching, challenging and guiding the students into becoming better dancers through her choreography. |
